EVER DREAMED OF PLAYING DISC GOLF FROM DAWN TO DUSK?

Are you up for the challenge of playing 144 holes on 8 different courses in one day?

Join us for the 11th annual Great 8 Disc Golf Event.  Play 8 great central North Carolina courses in one day!  

This event is not for the faint-hearted.  We play in pairs, so find a brave partner, make sure your car has a full tank of gas, and come tackle all 8 courses.

Awards and Prizes

Win the respect of your fellow competitors, the glory of accomplishing a challenging feat, and some discs and cash.

There will be recognition of the lowest divisional scores, course CTP's, fastest finish, and most holes played. You must finish to qualify for awards!

In addition to the “Last Shot of the Day” competition (Cedarock hole 1 CTP-$100 cash prize), there will also be a long distance challenge to all contestants that finish all eight courses. The winner will walk away with a cash prize of $200. 

And finally, we will again hold a Ring of Fire competition with the winner picking up some cash.

The Facts

The 11th Annual Great 8 Tournatment is coming up this Saturday!  We now have a full slate of 23 teams.  Here are the pertinent facts:

STARTING LOCATION: 
Zebulon Disc Golf Course in Zebulon, North Carolina. We finish at Cedarock in Burlington, NC. See the list of courses to the right.

DATE & TIME:
We start at Zebulon at sunrise (about 6:00am)!  Get their early to warm up - and wake up!  We typically finish up at Cedarock around dark - 9:00pmish.

FEE:
The Great 8 costs $30.00 per team.  Click here to sign up and pay online.  You can also download, complete, and mail in a registration form here.  Every participant will also need to complete a waiver form - get it here.   With a full slate of 23 teams, you can contact Jay Pontier, if you want to us to consider adding a few more slots.

FORMAT:
We play in pairs - best shot doubles.
